2020 World Breastfeeding Week Portrait

Welcome to the information for the 5th Annual Word Breastfeeding Week event hosted by CDA Birth Photographer, LLC.

This event originally started five years ago to celebrate mothers and to raise awareness to the need of policy in Idaho that protects breastfeeding mothers in the public and work places. In 2018 lawmakers in Idaho updated policy to remove language that could result in a breast-feeding mother being charge with indecency. I believe there’s room for our community to grow, and that this is also an opportunity for celebrating the accomplishments of local nursing mothers.

Event Details:

Attendance may become capped to prevent crowding and exposure.

This event is my passion project. It’s truly weighed on my heart how to manage it this year. The reality is, women are still giving birth, still nursing, still pumping, still bottle feeding breastmilk, still feeding via g tube despite the COIVD pandemic. So this event will go on. Please only attend if it’s safe for you and your child to do so, and if you meet the health requirements stated above.
