2019 World Breastfeeding Week Portrait
The 4th Annual World Breastfeeding Portrait hosted by CDA Birth Photographer has come and gone, please like my Facebook Page for details on next years upcoming event, it will be in July of 2020. This years portrait is included a whopping 51 mother feeding 54 babies via nursing, pumping, supplementing, and/or g-tube! This event originally started four years ago to celebrate mother and to raise awareness to the need of policy in Idaho that protects breastfeeding mothers in the public and work places. In 2018 lawmakers in Idaho updated policy to remove language that could result in a breast-feeding mother being charge with indecency. This event is my passion project, and I’m so grateful for the changes that have been made for families in this community. Thank you to the families who come to celebrate this event and the community that is open to the growth that we can continue to male for nursing/pumping/supplementing women and their families!
